champ has new challenge with the addition of handicaps
to the tournament. Usually a slow starter in most tournaments,
but consistently closes fast and hard. When he is winning
tournaments his final day stroke average is 6 shots
lower than the first day for all tournaments.
Weak showings in recent tournaments following shoulder surgery have this former champ a bit depressed. However, never a quitter, he is working to get his game back where it was in the glory days. His European play has been strong in the past, so look for a move in Spain.
