Dave Marquez finally broke through with that big win in Lake Tahoe, 2007. His critics, silenced for now, have long held that he could never get past his nemesis Wil "The Thrill" Bryant. Well he did just that, outdeuling The Thrill down the stretch to take the green polyester. Look for a more relaxed, confident Marquez strolling down the fairways in New England in 2008. His agent, Scott Boras, has said that he expects Hollywood to spend more time mingling with fans and giving autographs and just plain having fun now that the monkey is off of his back.
